This compiled genealogy presently comprises two volumes with three more to follow. Each volume consists of four books. Within the reader will find extensive biographical and genealogical info on all family lines with detailed source citations for all vital events. Church and civil records, cemetery records, census data, newspaper abstracts of marriages and deaths and family charts have been used to bring this story to life. Josiah Hill Winchester is a fifth-generation lineal descendant (great-great-grandson) of John Winchester, Sr. - the immigrant ancestor - who arrived in America in 1635.
John Winchester Sr.’s English origins is briefly discussed. The ancestral New England family lines of Nathan Winchester and his wife Beulah Parks are also explored. Allied families connected to the Winchesters through marriage are given a genealogical treatment. Many of the descendants of Josiah Hill Winchester eventually settled in Massachusetts, Maine and as far away as the southern States of Louisiana and Alabama.

The author, Schani Biermann, is an eighth- generation descendant of Nathan Winchester through his son Josiah Hill Winchester. His genealogical work is a result of 20 years spent compiling and documenting the family and descendants of Nathan Winchester and his wife Beulah Parks. His love of genealogy has resulted in three family history books already written on his Biermann and Morgan forbears. Born and raised in Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada the author presently resides in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. (Click on photo for more info).
